Miranda and Steven’s New York Engagement Session!

I am honored to be the one that gets to capture the amazing story of Miranda and Steven. Miranda was going to school at OU and Steven was at West Point in New York. Steven came to Oklahoma one day and he met Miranda for the first time. They instantly fell in love and they were not going to let the distance get between them. For the next three years, Miranda traveled to New York once a month to visit Steven! Their relationship evolved over those years and they have so many cherished memories from New York. We wanted to capture those memories so I photographed them at West Point and in New York City where they often went on dates together. On the last day, we attended the Army vs. Vanderbilt football game at West Point. Steven played for Army and was so excited that we could capture some images of them in the place that he loved. Miranda and Steven were going to be married in June of 2010, but duty called upon Steven and he is now serving his country in Iraq for a year. I had such an amazing time with them in New York, and it’s the kind of love that they have for each other that makes my job soooo worth it!

Erielle’s San Francisco Bridal Session!

Well this is all I can show you for now because her wedding is not until the end of May 2010! The original plan was to shoot her bridal session in Washington DC but she mentioned that the following week she would be in San Francisco and the gears started turning! I asked if we could switch to San Fran and she was just as excited as me when we talked about the amazing locations we could shoot. Her dress and shoes are from Oscar De La Renta, and the dress was modified by our very talented Meg Guess of Meg Guess Couture Bridal. We had so much fun shooting Erielle all over San Francisco and I can’t wait to share these with you!

Lauren and Kern’s Chicago Engagement Shoot!

I had the great pleasure of shooting Lauren and Kern’s engagement session in Chicago back in July. The weather was phenomenal that evening and I had so much fun shooting with them! I first met Lauren and Kern at Laurens sister’s wedding(See Sarah Jane at Gaillardia below). We shot the session in and around the Lincoln Park area and ended up on one of the beaches of Lake Michigan. Lauren and Kern are getting married in Oklahoma next year and I cannot wait!
